We are simply measuring a person's REAL HEALTH. In doing so, we measure how quickly can you cover a mile on foot. Or can you? If you can't make it a mile, no problem. That's a measurement. If you can only walk a mile, slowly, that's OK too. If you can run a mile at a 7 minute pace, that's impressive and we'll count that too. The point is simple: We want an accurate assessment of your physical fitness and a timed mile is one of those measures.
So: if you are avoiding determining your REAL HEALTH SCORE because you don't want to or can't make it a mile on foot, you need this more than anyone!
While most of our focus is on PHYSICAL HEALTH, we also understand that you're more than just some body. You need to also attend to your mental health. So we encourage our people to explore their mental health and be intentional about keeping it healthy. After all, mental health is an incredibly important part of overall health.
